faun fables ~ 6/29/23 ~ basement show

an intimate evening of song-tales and witchy art-folk 

faun fables is the California-based duo of partners Dawn McCarthy and Nils Frykdahl (with two of their daughters will joining them on stage for this summer tour). their music is indescribably unique, beautiful, haunting and sometimes playful. Dawn and Nils voices are two of the most distinct in modern music. they accompany themselves with guitars, flutes, and drums.

Olivia Barton is a singer/songwriter from Orlando, Florida who writes indie folk rock songs in the vein of The Staves and Phoebe Bridgers. Her songs feature a pure voice swimming in dark guitars, singing about sad things she never intended to tell strangers.
